Feedwater, Steam and condensate measurement in CHP projects

Lecture

Feedwater and steam are part of the core power generation process. The energy flow of these media needs to be accounted correctly in such projects even if no simple definition can be found in the combined heat and power act.

Key Takeaways

  • Get to know measurement technologies for feedwater and steam
  • Learn about the selection criteria for feedwater, condensate and steam meters
  • Understand how the required uncertainties in service condtions can be mainained
  • Get some project examples
